It looks effortless the way the demonstrator finds herself in perfect balance between turns.

She’s actually making a conscious effort to hold the feet back and pull the base of support into a balance position.

Good technique doesn’t happen by itself. Re-centering by pulling the feet back into balance at transition is something that can be practiced and improved. The effort will be worth it.
